Help test my apps before they launch.

Google asks new developers to run a closed test with at least 12 people for 14 days before an app can go public. If you have an Android phone, you can be one of them. It’s free, and you get the apps early.

How it works

1. Send me your Play email

Email me the Google account you use on the Play Store, and which apps you’d like to try. I add you to the tester list.

2. Join the test

Open the "Join the test" link for each app below while signed in to that same account, and tap "Become a tester".

3. Install from Google Play

The same page has a link to the app on Google Play. Install it like any other app. It can take a few minutes to show up.

4. Keep it for 14 days

Leave the app installed and open it now and then for two weeks. Google counts testers who stay opted in for the whole time.

5. Tell me what you think

Anything confusing, broken or missing: email me, or use "Send feedback" inside the app.

Good to know

• You need an Android phone with Google Play, signed in to the account you send me.
• I only use your email to add you to the tester list, and I remove it when testing ends.
• Test versions are the real apps, ads included. What you enter stays on your phone, as always.
• You can leave a test any time from the same "Join the test" page.
